What you'll do

Office management

  • Facilities: keep the office running day-to-day — supplies stocked, spaces organised, vendor relationships managed, repairs handled before anyone has to ask

  • IT support: set up laptops and system access for every new joiner, be the first line of support for wifi, hardware, and SaaS tools (Google Workspace, Notion, HubSpot, Slack), and manage hardware inventory

  • Hospitality: be the warm, reliable presence that makes Carbon Equity a great place to spend the day — from daily lunch orders and a well-stocked pantry to team moments that feel genuinely thoughtful

Operations

  • HR admin: draft and issue employment contracts, addenda, and offer letters; track HR mutations and keep payroll up to date; own onboarding end-to-end; act as first point of contact for employee queries on leave, benefits, and policies

  • EA support: support the CEO and COO on calendar management, travel, and logistics for board meetings and investor calls — the team already works with Superhuman, so the day-to-day inbox load is manageable; your focus is on keeping priorities organised and nothing falling through the cracks

 

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years in an EA, office management, or HR operations role — ideally in a fast-moving scale-up

  • Hands-on HR admin experience: contracts, payroll mutations, Dutch employment basics

  • Genuinely good with IT: MacBook setup, network troubleshooting, SaaS admin — no hand-holding needed

  • Hyper-organised and proactive — you work off systems, nothing slips

  • Warm, socially intelligent, and discreet with sensitive people and contract information

  • Fluent in Dutch and English
