About Carbon Equity

Carbon Equity is a digital wealth platform that seeks to mobilise private capital at a scale of billions to help solve the world’s biggest challenges, starting with climate change. We do so by democratising access to impact driven alternative investments such as venture capital and private equity. Founded in Amsterdam, we combine a strong culture of impact, high performance, and innovation with a deep commitment to building a values-driven organization. As we scale, we are looking for ambitious, mission-aligned talent to help us accelerate the global transition to a net-zero economy.

Location: Amsterdam
Reporting to: Head of Marketing

Type: Full time (36-40 hours)

Role Overview

As Product Marketer, you are responsible for positioning, go-to-market, and ongoing growth of our different funds (packaging and distributing them). You turn the complexity of our investment products into clear, compelling value propositions tailored to distinct investor segments (mass affluent, HNWIs, and family offices, but also their sub-segments, like entrepreneurs) and ensure they reach the right people through the right (paid) channels. This is a pivotal role in helping us cross ‘the charm’ to target the early majority.

What you will do

  • GTM Strategy: Identify investor segments and develop go-to-market plans to engage them. Appealing to their needs and catering to their jobs-to-be-done. Matching them to the most suitable product from our offering. Aiming to reach product-market-channel fit.

  • Positioning & Messaging: Develop crisp, compelling product messaging tailored to different audiences (e.g., tech founders, corporate executives, and family offices). Optimizing their customer journey to convert their topic interest into product interest.

  • Product Launches: Support integrated go-to-market plans for new funds and offerings - from positioning to channel rollout and ROI calculations. Working closely together with the marketing, sales, and product teams.

  • Channel Planning: Match the right messaging to the right channels (email, paid, social, partnerships, events, etc.) to maximize reach, quality leads, and conversion. Implement campaigns based on your strategy and support with non-PPC media buying.

  • Audience Insight: Conduct customer and market research to deeply understand needs, motivations, and objections, and shape individual messaging accordingly. Our audience decides based on their beliefs, peers, and media. It’s complex, but highly interesting.

  • Segmentation & Automation: Build dynamic lists and personalized triggers based on behavioral data. Find patterns and create follow-ups that drive desired actions. Working together with our CRM manager and Content Marketeer to convince these segments.

  • Data-Driven Optimization: Set KPIs, track our input/output, and iterate to improve outcomes across touchpoints. Reporting to the wider organization, sharing insights. We aim to build an efficient organization, but we are also still learning what works best.

What you bring

  • 5+ years in product marketing and/or growth marketing. Preferably in-house at a fast-scaling organization.

  • Proven success in creating product-market-channel fit to grow beyond first traction - ideally in SaaS, fintech, (impact) investing, or other high-growth industries. We are mostly focusing on individual investors, but a lot of B2B tactics apply (events, content, etc.).

  • A strong sense of customer empathy and understanding of the investor mindset.

  • Ability to synthesize complex investment products into clear, persuasive narratives.

  • Track record of leading multi-channel campaigns that drive measurable traction.

  • Strategic thinker ánd hands-on doer: able to shape GTM direction and roll up your sleeves to execute. Ability to connect the dots with logic and (limited) data. Collaborating with the wider team, sharing knowledge, and being an individual contributor.

Bonus points

  • Experience in B2B (e.g., SaaS), private markets (e.g., PE/VC), or climate tech.

  • Passion for sustainability, impact investing, and changing how capital is allocated.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, pragmatic thinking, and an action-oriented approach.

What We Offer

  • A mission-driven company working on the defining challenge of our time.

  • The opportunity to be part of the mission: employees participate in our stock option plan.

  • A chance to shape a high-impact commercial strategy in a fast-growing fintech with global ambitions.

  • Lots of room to bring your ideas and the mandate to act on them.

  • Hybrid work culture, with at least three days per week in the Amsterdam office.

  • 25 holiday days (full-time contract) and bi-annual company offsites.

  • Attractive benefits such as a pension contribution and a personal learning budget

If you're ready to drive impactful marketing projects and contribute to scaling climate tech investments, we’d love to hear from you!
