Position: SDR (Sales Development Representative)
Location: Amsterdam
Reporting to: Head of Sales
Role overview
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Inbound SDR to join our sales team and help us drive our mission forward. As an Inbound SDR, you will be the first point of contact for potential investors and partners, responsible for qualifying inbound leads and setting up meetings for our sales team. Your role is crucial in expanding our network and building meaningful relationships with individuals who are passionate about investing in climate tech. If you are a self-starter with strong communication skills and a keen interest in climate change solutions, this position is for you!

The role & responsibilities
The ideal candidate will excel at turning inbound interest into actionable sales opportunities. Your work will involve:
- Responding to and qualifying potential investors from various sources (website, social media, events) to understand their needs and setting up meetings with the sales team
- Maintaining and updating lead information in our CRM system (HubSpot)
- Collaborate with the rest of the sales team to achieve account management objectives
- Collaborating with the marketing team to align lead generation strategies and messaging
- Tracking and reporting on lead conversion metrics and providing insights for improvement
- Managing follow-ups and nurturing leads through the initial stages of the sales funnel
- Contributing to the development of lead generation strategies and improving processes
Job requirements
Who you are
- Excellent communicator with a passion for engaging with people and building relationships
- Skilled in using CRM systems, particularly HubSpot
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills
- Motivated by targets and results, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a collaborative mindset, yet able to work independently
- Passionate about climate tech and understanding the investment landscape is a plus
- Previous experience in a similar role or sales environment is beneficial
Qualifications & experiences
- 1-3 years of experience in an inbound sales or customer-facing role
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Near-native command of English and Dutch, both written and verbally (required)
- Located in the Netherlands or willing to relocate and has a permit to work in the Netherlands
