Location: Amsterdam

Time Commitment: 2 days per week (starting April 2026)

The role

Are you passionate about finance and climate impact? Carbon Equity is looking for a highly motivated Finance or Accountancy student to support our Finance team starting 1 April 2026. You'll work closely with our Financial Controller, keeping day-to-day financial administration running smoothly. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional, international environment — while contributing directly to a company with real-world impact.

What you'll do

  • Process incoming invoices

  • Review and post transactions in Moss and Exact Online

  • Help keep the financial administration accurate and up to date

  • Flag irregularities and report back to the finance manager

  • Provide ad hoc administrative support around reporting and audit preparation

What you bring

  • You're enrolled in an HBO or Bachelor's programme in Accountancy, Finance & Control, or similar

  • You're available for at least 16 hours per week (flexible scheduling)

  • You work accurately, stay organised, and take ownership of your tasks

  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting software is a plus

  • You communicate clearly; Dutch and/or English is fine
